Hello! I was offered the wonderful opportunity to Guest at Cup Cards to Go! Sadly, the Postal Service has decided that they need to take extra long to deliver the package. I thought I would share the kit here today anyway!

Shoe love *Pebbles Inc*

Hello! Well, anyone who knows me and my scrapping, knows that I love sketches. I had a great big smile on my face when I saw that my first assignment for this Pebbles term was a sketch! LOL! Here's the lovely sketch by Becky Fleck of Page Maps:
I decided to be really true to the sketch for my take. Here's my take on the sketch:



I confess. I have always liked shoes, especially red ones. Having kids has impacted my ability to buy too many shoes, but we have discovered that our little lady also has a thing for shoes. The apple does not fall far from the tree ;) I really don't think it's such a bad trait to inherit!

Hello! How's life? A card and some info to share with you today! I love the new Pebbles Fresh Goods line and couldn't resist pulling a card together after my last layout.


There's a couple of fun calls you need to know about it! Creative Scrappers is having a Sketch Designer call here as well as a Design Team call here. It is a fantastic team and Kristine is wonderful, so go for it!

Scrapbook and Cards Today

Hello! The next edition of Scrapbook and Cards Today is available to view. You can download a copy for free from here or you can pick up a copy at your LSS. There lots of great layouts and inspirational ideas. I am thrilled that you'll see this on page 49:
This was my first chance to create a page specifically for an article. Too fun! Our little man seems to have two hollow legs and is constantly in need of snacks. I admit that at times I do feel like a short order cook and I am sure many a parent can relate to this feeling!

Simple Cards

Hello! I have a couple of super simple cards to share today. I seldom use stickers, but I received a sheet in the mail with my last ST magazine and loved them so much, that I had to put them to use!

It's amazing how much fun stickers and twine can be (at least for me, anyway ;) I have a few pages in the works. I am hoping to have time to get them done for the weekend!

Creative Scrappers #174

Hello! Another sketch is up for you at Creative Scrappers. This week's sketch is by Jill Sarginson.
Here's my take on the sketch:



Miss E dancing at the campground. We had a little solar radio going and Miss E had a great time. Lots of interpretive dance ;)

I inked the wooden alpha with the Distress Inks Antique Linen and Victorian Velvet by Ranger. The background is misted with Piglet and White by Studio Calico. The butterflies are cut out of packaging from BoBunny.

Up the Street...

Hello! I just received the September/October kit from Up the Street Scrapbooking and it is GORGEOUS! Love the colours and mix of patterned papers. I added the buttons from the recent My Mind's Eye Lost and Found line and some paint dabbers from Jenni Bowlin and Ranger.

The first page is a picture I grabbed at the beach. The paper and the colours worked perfectly!




And I just had to scrap this pic of our little man. LOL! What a face!





I have two more pages planned and a couple of cards too... I am off to Chicago this weekend with my scrappy friend Mindy, so my pages and cards will happen early next week!

A card

Hello! A quick post with a card to share. I have lots of scraps and I am trying to use them up. You know, when there's not enough to giveaway or sell but there's too much or it's too nice to give to your kids...

Toad-ally cute!

The weekend got away from me! Lots of projects to do... I have a page to share. The pics are older, before I had an interest in photography. I still think Miss E is super cute in these shots, so I scrapped them!

It was challenging to get the right colour balance when photographing the layout. I think the saturated yellows are to blame ;)


Miss E is two in these pics. This was shortly after we moved into our current house and we discovered the wading pool (now replaced with a fabulous new splash pad) was only two blocks away! Heaven!

I seriously cannot stop with these cuties! (I am feeling a little punchy with all the stress at work -can you tell? ;) I have 9 more sleeps until I join my fabulous, scrappy friend Mindy in Chicago for a girlie weekend. I must thank another fabulous scrappy friend, Keshet, who sent me inspiration in the form of these felt animals ;)

Here's my take on the sketch. The title is a play on the fact that my little guy was super focused on the sparkler, which in turn allowed me to play with the focus on my camera. Love these pics!
