Perfect day

Hello! I always love playing with mist. I took some time to play with mist and some embossing powder. I used this stamp in combination with a variety of different mists. This was my favourite result:

I am sure that I have mentioned how much I have enjoyed using Spellbinder dies! I think it's time to try these on a layout!

Snow Ready

Hello! I saw this Winterland line by Fancy Pants and just *needed* it. Who can resist those mittens? (I am also having a bit of an obsession with snowflakes lately too...)

This pic was taken on our first day of really cold weather. Normally it starts getting cold around Halloween but it didn't get cold until December this winter.

Tracking Santa

Make mine a double *Pebbles Inc*

Hello! I have a project up for Pebbles this week. This week, we're all creating double pages! I knew exactly what pictures I wanted to scrap for this assignment (click on the picture to get a larger view):

The boat shaped felt embellishments were perfect for my theme, paired of course with Fresh Goods. Using a wave border punch was an easy way to help round out my water/boat theme!

Hello! Do you put pink on a little boy page? I have seen it done well, but I tend to avoid it. This time around though, it seemed to be just the right touch.

Adhesive Notes *Pebbles Inc*

Hello! I have a page to share with you today for Pebbles. My assignment was to create something using the Pebbles cool, new Adhesive Notes. I chose to create a page (I am sure you're not surprised :)! I love that scrapbooking has resulted in my taking more pictures of some of those extra special, everyday moments!



The With Love line was perfect for these pictures. I decided to use the sticky notes both as an embellishment and as a border on the page. I love the added pattern and colours, and how easy they are to reposition.

Up the Street January kit

Hello! I have a few things to share this week from Up the Street. The January kit will be available today. It is loaded with October Afternoon goodness; a lovely soft palette. I tried my hand at the 'laundry line' look for my first page. (Miss E is actually five in this shot, so I was pretty happy to have this particular flash card :)



I put together a frame for a dear friend. Of course, I didn't think to take the picture before I put the page into the frame. Sorry for the reflection, I just didn't want to take it apart too many times (I will have to open it again to add the picture).

Happy New Year!

Hello! Welcome to 2012. I have lots to look forward to this year. Fewer renos, a trip to New York to see my brother and starting some canoeing. (Our little guy is finally old enough to listen, which greatly reduces the chance of him drowning himself...)

Each and every year, I get to start the New Year with a bang!

It's my thirty-(ahem)th birthday today. I am always asked if my parents received anything for having a baby on the 1st. Nope. But just because I didn't get anything doesn't mean you shouldn't get something :) I thought I would share a little present with you! This is the Studio Calico kit from August, called Boardwalk.

It is full/complete, in a nice clean box waiting for an address. If you'd like a chance to win, please leave me a comment and be sure your email address is available!
