What did you say?

Hello! Happy Monday! I have one more project to share with you from Up the Street Scrapbooking's January kit.

I was inspired by the covers included in the kit and the fact that we've been laughing pretty hard at some of the things the kids have been saying lately. I have been thinking about writing some things down, so I decided to create a journal of sorts to capture some of the stories. I pulled out the leftovers from all the previous kits (I keep all the leftover bits in a pizza box so I know where it's come from) and put it together.

This month's kit included some tissue paper -I gently inked the edges of a piece with red ink and I really like the result! (Click on any picture to see a larger view.)

Only the red washi tape and the 'today' tag are from my stash, as well as the small piece of blue washi tape later in the book.

The larger journaling tags by Pebbles were perfect additions to be their own pages!

There were lots of different elements in each of the kits that matched the colour scheme that I chose for the book. I might add a few pictures of the kids along the way, but I plan on focussing on printing out a few stories and adding a few stories by hand. I like that the rings will let me add pages if needed! I should probably also come up with another book so each of the kids can have their own...

Thanks for stopping in! Have a great day!
